Software Testing/QA
Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Good knowledge of QA Processes
• Understanding of software configuration management
• Ability to write code and compile from a low level, low complexity design document
• Ability to write, execute and document unit test cases
• Good knowledge in software QA test methodologies
• Exposure to Test Management and Defect Tracking Tools such as TestLink, QC, Bugzilla, Mantis BT and Redmine.
• Ability to communicate effectively (written and Oral)
The following are different type of Tools based on their functionality.
1. Test Automation Tools:
Katalon Studio, HP Unifield Functional Testing(UFT), IBM Rational Functional Tester, Renox, Selenium
2. Test Management Tools:
Trantula, Testopia, QABook, Testlink, XQual, TestMaster, Testitool
3. Performance Testing Tools:
BlazeMeter, Borland Silk Performer, HP LoadRunner, IBM Rational Performance Tester, Soasta CloudTest
4. Bug Tracking Tools:
Bugzilla, MantisBT, Atlassian JIRA, BugAware, Testuff.
