Junior Marketing Assistant: Entry Level Marketing and Sales

Thrive Events is a premier, privately owned marketing and promotional firm based in the Phoenix area with goals to expand rapidly in 2018. We are currently produce and manage multiple small scale events in local area, with the demand to add additional clients by the middle of 2018. Thrive Events is looking to fill 3-5 management training positions throughout the course of this month to aid in our expansion and allow us to bring on more clientele.

Thrive Events does provide paid training in marketing, management, and sales. Therefore, previous experience is not required, but, it is preferred. Please note this is an entry level position that will move into an executive role within less than a year.

MAIN JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Campaign development including coordination, analysis, and continual monitoring for progress
  • Professionally representing clients in all areas of business
  • Contribute to the growth and performance of the division
  • Train and develop new marketing professionals
  • Stay on top of changes in the marketing environment to best serve the objective of the client and adjusting plans accordingly
  • Manage and develop promotions and materials

Requirements

  • Must be able to have FUN
  • Must be excited to work face to face with people
  • Customer service, retail, sales and/or marketing experience a plus, but not a requirement
  • Ability to work at least 30 hours/ week
  • Ability to travel locally to events
  • Aggressive desire to learn
