CAD Design Internship
Smead Manufacturing is seeking applicants for a “Drafter/Designer Intern” position opening March 2018 to work 20hrs/week during the school year and up to 40 hrs/week during summers.

Job Responsibilities:
- Drawing and dimensioning machine replacement parts for fabrication
- Designing matching upgrades (mechanical parts and assemblies)
- Photographing and documenting improvements to manufacturing processes
- Seeing projects from beginning to end
- Updating and maintaining facility drawings
Interns will be trained to use:
- Auto-CAD
- Audodesk Inventor
- Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
Minimum Qualifications:
- Enrollment in CAD/CAM Major or Minor programs at Southern Utah University
- Accepting applications with an expected graduation date of May 2020 or later
- Experience with the above software is a plus
